Al-Boughaz construction starts, linking northern and southern Marina

Engineer Dr. Mohamed Khalafallah, Head of the Tourist Villages Authority, oversaw the start of construction for "Al-Boughaz," a navigational passage connecting the northern marina to its southern expansions in New Marina. He was joined by Engineer Amr Mohie, Deputy Head of the Authority, Engineer Mina Raafat, Assistant Head of the Authority, and Directors of relevant departments within the Authority.

Engineer Khalafallah explained that "Al-Boughaz" is a crucial 550-meter navigational passage designed to supply the southern lakes with Mediterranean seawater. He further stated that the structural designs and construction will accommodate the entry and movement of tourist boats between the Marina lakes. This will create various opportunities for Marina and tourist village owners and visitors to enjoy the lakes. It will also allow them to benefit from the services to be established in the southern expansions of the Marina.

Dr. Khalafallah also announced that the improvement and development of the Marina entrances, along with the addition of urban landscaping that complements the development work on the external axes in front of the Marina Alamein Tourist Center, have been completed.

Furthermore, Dr. Khalafallah inspected the progress of housing and lake projects in the area and reviewed the implementation rates of lake works in the southern expansions of New Marina by the Lake.

The Head of the Authority also inspected the construction of the dual carriageway, which is progressing at an average rate, emphasized to the construction company the importance of adhering to the scheduled deadlines and stressed the need to complete the work with the required quality and specifications, as per the agreed-upon timetable.
