Yango Play: A unique entertainment experience
Yango Play, the group's super entertainment app, begins
Ramadan with an exclusive content collection designed to captivate audience
throughout the holy month. The exclusive collection, available in all MENA
markets, includes three exclusive series: "El Ghawy," "El Noss,"
and "Qahwet El Mahatta," in addition to the series "Qalbi wa Moftaho,"
"Awlad El Shams," and "Gawdar 2." Each 15-episode series
offers a blend of drama, comedy, and suspense.
Yango Play expands its Ramadan offerings with a new "ART Hekayat" collection, featuring a special schedule and exclusive limited-time deals. To strengthen connections within Egypt's creative community during Ramadan, Yango Play will organize a special Suhoor event for digital content creators in Cairo.
Yango Ride and Delivery: Supporting drivers and delivery partners
To support its partner drivers and delivery personnel during
Ramadan, Yango is distributing Iftar boxes every Friday in Abu Dhabi, Dubai,
and Sharjah. The "Islamic Mode" feature will also be activated, providing
a reminder 15 minutes before each prayer, automatically mutes notifications when
prayer begins, and providing a Qibla direction, to improve the experience of
fasting passengers, drivers, and delivery personnel.
In Oman, Yango Ride is continuing its Iftar box distribution
and launching the "Drivers' Dreams Come True" program. Through the
app's "My Dreams" feature, users can learn about and financially
support drivers' personal goals, such as homeownership, medical expenses, or
improved living conditions.
Yasmina: Smart features and community support
Yango's human-like smart assistant, "Yasmina," is
expanding its capabilities for Ramadan, focusing on spiritual enrichment,
family bonding, and daily convenience. A key feature allows users to easily
access important Ramadan supplications by saying, "Yasmina, play Ramadan
supplications." This provides a simple way to incorporate prayer into
daily routines during the holy month.
Yango Maps: Helping users find unique Iftar places
Yango Maps, the integrated smart navigation app, is
launching a special Ramadan guide for users in the UAE, to highlight a variety
of restaurants and cafes suitable for Iftar. Whether it's traditional dishes or
innovative international menus, users can easily find suitable places to break
their fast.
