Committee formed for Grand Egyptian Museum opening

Prime Minister Dr. Moustafa Madbouly chaired a cabinet meeting on Wednesday in the New Administrative Capital to discuss various topics and issues.

Madbouly referred to the meeting held by His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi Wednesday morning, to discuss the arrangements and organizational details for the scheduled opening celebration of the Grand Egyptian Museum. He emphasized that the proposed concepts for the celebration, its preparatory steps, the planned events, and the promotional strategy were all presented to the President.

Dr. Madbouly stated that President Sisi has directed the formation of a supreme committee to oversee all details of this significant celebration. The President also emphasized the importance of logistical services, with intensified preparations to ensure the event's highest-level organization, reflecting Egypt's status and history.

He added, 'This celebration will be a prime opportunity to showcase our achievements, particularly the development projects implemented across all sectors in recent years.'

Madbouly directed that all necessary attention be given to the traffic axes and streets surrounding the Grand Egyptian Museum, focusing on paving, lighting, cleanliness, and site coordination.
