Zanussi, a leading home appliance brand within Electrolux Group, has announced its participation in the "El-Manfaz - A Story Every Day" initiative for 2025, marking its third consecutive year of involvement. The initiative is held under the auspices of the Ministry of Social Solidarity, in collaboration with Ommar ElArd Organisation and Bedaya Charitable Foundation.
The 2025 'El-Manfaz - A Story Every Day' initiative will support Egypt's most vulnerable families across numerous governorates by distributing 100,000 food cartons, renovating 100 kitchens, and providing 8.94 million meals. These efforts aim to enhance social responsibility and promote sustainable development.
Zanussi's participation aligns with its strategy, which
mirrors Electrolux Group's global commitment to positive and sustainable
community impact. By providing innovative solutions that improve quality of
life and support social development, Zanussi reinforces its belief in the
private sector's role in aiding national initiatives and enhancing the lives of
those most in need.
Zanussi is expanding its community support this Ramadan.
Following last year's provision of food boxes and appliances for 50 kitchens,
they will renovate 70 kitchens, supply 500 food boxes from the 100,000-box
initiative, and provide 70 refrigerators and 70 stoves. Furthermore, in
partnership with Ahmed Refaat's 'Street Host' program, 40 appliances will be
distributed to needy families. This initiative reflects Zanussi's dedication to
making a positive community impact through acts of giving and compassion during
the holy month.
Maisam El-Hennawy, CEO of Electrolux Group Egypt, expressed
