During the conference marking the delivery of the first housing units in the city, Engineer Sherif Ismail, Minister of Housing, announced the ministry’s plan to deliver all units sold to date. A total of 8,000 housing units are scheduled for delivery by next June, including the 1,238 units handed over this month.
He highlighted that the first
phase of New Alamein City has attracted investments of 238 billion Egyptian
pounds across 14 projects, encompassing both government and private sector
projects. The city is ultimately designed to accommodate 1.6 million
residents."
