Eastern Company announced its plans to open new credit lines for raw materials to meet production demands and build up sufficient inventory for the coming years. The company aims to achieve sales of approximately 70 billion cigarettes, provided that raw materials are available and production conditions are favourable.
Last Thursday, the company signed
a three-year renewal agreement for manufacturing and cooperation with the Japan
Tobacco International Company.
Notably, Eastern Company achieved a net profit of 9.18 billion Egyptian pounds in the fiscal year from July 2023 to June 2024, compared to 7.65 billion pounds in the previous fiscal year. The company's sales jumped to 20.44 billion pounds in the last fiscal year, compared to 17.82 billion pounds in the previous year.
