Toyota Motor Corporation, Japan's leading automaker, reported a continued decline in global production for the tenth consecutive month in November. This occurred despite a second consecutive month of global sales growth, primarily driven by increased demand in the United States and China.
In November, Toyota produced 869,230 vehicles worldwide, marking a 6.2% decrease compared to the same period last year. This decline was more pronounced than the 0.8% drop observed in October.
Production within the United States also experienced a significant downturn, declining by 11.8%. This reflects a slow recovery despite the late October resumption of production for the Grand Highlander and Lexus TX SUVs following a four-month suspension."
