Zoom Video Communications announced a $75 million investment in Saudi Arabia during the fourth LEAP 2025 conference and exhibition, held at the Riyadh Exhibition and Conference Center from February 9th to 12th.
Attendees at the Zoom booth (Hall 1, Booth B70) connected with experts and technical consultants to explore services and offerings focused on enhancing customer success. Demonstrations highlighted Zoom Contact Center, which uses artificial intelligence to improve customer service representative skills and provide instant AI assistance. Zoom Phone (IP Telephony) was also featured, emphasizing its seamless and reliable communication capabilities through a local, regulation-compliant data center in Saudi Arabia. This AI-powered phone system is designed for ease of use and built with security as a priority.
Mohannad AlKalash, Managing Director of Zoom in the Middle
East, Turkey, Africa, and Pakistan (METAP) region, announced a $75 million
investment in Saudi Arabia. This investment, he said, demonstrates Zoom's
commitment to the region's digital transformation, focusing on AI-powered
innovation and infrastructure. "We seek to enable institutions to improve
communication and collaboration methods," AlKalash stated, "which
contributes to enhancing workforce productivity and efficient distribution,
regardless of location."
AlKalash emphasized Zoom's desire to strengthen its
long-term partnership with the Saudi government, business community, and
people. "We recognize the unique opportunity available to us to be part of
the Kingdom's ambitious program aimed at bringing about social, economic,
environmental, and digital transformation, in line with Vision 2030," he
added.
At the LEAP 2025 conference and exhibition, Zoom's booth
showcased a variety of innovative solutions, including Zoom AI Companion.
AlKalash described this tool as a creative AI-powered assistant designed to
enhance individual productivity and facilitate effective collaboration.
The Zoom Phone app, supporting corporate integration efforts
in Saudi Arabia, was also featured. This app allows companies to leverage a
unified communication platform for their distributed workforce. Zoom Contact
Center services were also highlighted, offering a seamless experience by combining
unified communications with advanced contact center capabilities within a
secure and scalable platform.
Al-Kalash further explained, "Our mission is to help
individuals stay connected and get their work done efficiently by providing
seamless and secure video communications. We have succeeded in developing the
best video solutions for institutions, but we have not stopped at this
point." He then listed Zoom's diverse product offerings, including AI
Companion, Team Chat, Contact Center, Phone, Events, Rooms, and Webinar,
emphasizing their support for customers across various sectors: from conference
rooms and classrooms to medical, financial, and governmental institutions, as
well as global companies and startups.
Concluding his statement, Al-Kalash reiterated Zoom's commitment to the highest standards of security and privacy, emphasizing that security is a top priority and integrated into the company's culture.
